Genealogy

So from time to time I get into Genealogy for a bit then I get distracted and don't for a while.  So recently got a hit on 23 and me for a relative of Pooch's and back and forth with input from his Mom we figured out that the oldest person on Pooch's dad's line had a first wife and their daughter is this persons ancestor.  Was fun figuring it out and finding some new documents that I had misplaced.  

Wiki Tree is a free family tree site where I keep my records though I have tried out many others including Ancestry, Family Tree Builder (now part of My Heritage)

Have you done any genealogy or DNA testing?  What have you found?
